Audio Mixer
The Audio tab gives you real-time control over every audio source in your OBS mix. Adjust volumes, mute sources, and watch live VU meters, all without touching your computer.

Audio tab - volume faders, mute toggles, and live VU meters
Volume faders
Each audio source has a volume fader. Drag left or right to decrease or increase the volume. The fader uses a logarithmic scale matching OBS, so the centre point corresponds to 0 dB (unity gain).
Volume changes are applied immediately in OBS and are reflected in the OBS Audio Mixer on your computer in real time.
Muting sources
Tap the mute button on any source to mute or unmute it instantly. Muted sources are shown with a distinct indicator so you can see at a glance which inputs are silent.
You can also add a Mute All button to your Custom Deck for one-tap muting of every source at once, with smart restore to bring back only the sources that were unmuted before. See the Custom Deck guide.
VU meters
Live level meters are shown alongside each source, updating in real time as audio passes through OBS. The meters use the same peak metering as the OBS Audio Mixer, so what you see in the app matches what you see on your computer.
Filtering and sorting
If you have a large number of audio sources, use the filter controls at the top of the Audio tab to show only specific source types. You can also reorder sources by dragging to match your preferred monitoring layout.
Inline audio on scene cards
Sources with audio also show a compact mute toggle inline on their source card in the Sources tab. This lets you mute a source without leaving the sources view.
